Who is sQualo?
Matéo Guéric, better known as sQualo, is an upcoming 17-year-old artist from Montreal, Canada, who was born on May 21, 2005. He is best known for making trap and melodic music.
sQualo has had a passion for music from a very young age. When he was only seven, he got a guitar which he really enjoyed playing. More recently, he started making music because about three years ago sQualo started producing his own beats, however, a year ago he decided to write his own lyrics and rap on them. When he rapped on a couple of his beats he really enjoyed it and decided to make his own rap songs instead. sQualo wanted a way for him to show and express his feelings, so he used rapping as an outlet for him to spread messages and share his thoughts.
Artists that helped inspire sQualo to start rapping and making songs of his own are PLK, Tiakola, and Polo G. These artists really influenced him to start his career as a rapper and sQualo really looks up to them in hopes of becoming as big as them one day.
Other than rapping, sQualo can do many other things in the music industry such as making beats and mixing songs since he started off as a producer. He enjoys playing instruments like the guitar and listening to music in his free time.
In about five years, sQualo hopes to sees himself as a very successful person. He sees himself at the top of the Montreal music industry making millions of dollars off of his music.
This is definitely an artist to watch and as he continues to make a path and name for himself, we can all say that we were here early!
