Who is Shakillz?
Shakillz is an upcoming artist from Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada, who is best known for making hip-hop and trap music. However, he is always trying out new sounds and can make music in other genres as well.
Shakillz started making music back in his final year of high school, however he started to take it more seriously around two to three years ago. Ever since then, he has been making music more consistently and is trying to take his music to the next level.
An artist that really inspired Shakillz to start making music of his own, is Lil Durk, a very well-known Chicago artist. A reason why he looks up to Lil Durk, is because growing up as a kid, Lil Durk had a rough childhood and made it out of his hood. Shakillz is trying to do the same thing by making people proud of him and help the people in need.
Other than making and recording new music, Shakillz can do other things in the industry such as mixing and mastering songs. He is independent and mixes and masters his own music as well. He is putting a lot of hard work in and tries to learn new things everyday.
In about five years, Shakillz hopes to see himself as a very successful person accomplishing all of his goals and dreams. He hopes to be focusing more on businesses and finding new opportunities. He wishes to be mixing songs for artists on his label, RMG (Real Money Getters).
Shakillz has a Fijian background and in his latest video that he recently just dropped, it was his first time going on vacation. He travelled to Fiji and brought his mom and sisters along with him for a tour.
This is definitely an artist to watch and as he continues to make a path and name for himself, we can all say that we were here early!
