Who is Moontock?

Moontock is an upcoming 20-year-old artist from Vancouver, British Columbia. He is best known for making laid back lo-fi music about the ups and downs of love.

When Moontock was only 8 years old, he developed an interest in poetry and won his first ever poetry competition. After winning he even got his poem put in a young writers book. Ever since then, his love for poetry plus his obsession with rap music which was introduced to him by his brother, set him on his path to become an artist.

Artists that helped inspire Moontock to start making music of his own are Raphael Saadiq, The Game, 50 Cent, Nipsey Hussle, and many more. These artists really influenced him to start his own music career and Moontock really looks up to them in hopes of becoming as big as them one day.

Other than making music, Moontock is a huge car fan and loves to drive sports cars. He likes to drift his car and go on drives very often.

We asked Moontock where he sees himself in five years and he said, “I don’t like to think about the future but hopefully I’d still be doing what I’m doing now in 5 years time.”

This is definitely an artist to watch and as he continues to make a path and name for himself, we can all say that we were here early!
