Who is Karl Kaay?
Karl Kaay is a 20-year-old rapper from Toronto, Ontario who was born on July 11, 2000. He is best known for his catchy hooks, flows and making music that people would want to bump their heads to!
Karl Kaay spends a lot of time on his lyrics, as he wants to make meaningful songs just like how they used to be. “I’m a hip-hop historian and I just want that sound of real rap in my music, but I’m also incorporating this generation’s style, as I’m from it too,” says Karl Kaay.
Karl Kaay started rapping and got into music because of his older brothers. At a very young age, they introduced him to hip-hop and he completely fell in love with it. He grew up listening to rappers like Lil Wayne, Mase, Jay-Z, Migos, and especially 50 Cent, who had the most influence on him.
Other than rapping, Karl Kaay isn’t focused on anything else. He is currently working on an EP that is planned to drop early March. A few days ago, Karl Kaay released a single called “What Do You Think” which is now available on all streaming platforms!
In about five years, Karl Kaay definitely sees himself being out there. He visions himself being a successful rapper and making the whole world connect to his music. “The future is bright and I expect great things. I’m going to put my all in and be the best I can possibly be. This is not the last time you’ll hear from me, I promise,” says Karl Kaay.
