Who is JidScan?
Majid Jalloh, better known as JidScan, is a rapper from Franklin Township in New Jersey. He is best known for creating conscious and lyrical hip-hop music.
JidScan has had a passion for music ever since a very young age. He started off by recording songs and making beats for people in his neighbourhood, but then decided to step away from it for a little while. He started focusing on other things in the industry such as radio, writing, content creation, but eventually found himself writing and recording songs of his own again.
Artists that inspired JidScan throughout his rapping career were Jay Z, Eminem, and Kanye West. These artists influenced him to keep rapping and to hopefully become as big as them one day. JidScan also respects a lot of other contemporary artists popping right now, who inspire him every day. He also enjoys anything innovative or with substance, no matter what the genre is.
Apart from rapping, JidScan has many other interests and hobbies. He is a very talented writer and likes writing stories. He is also very much into films and other visual-related things, that he would like to get a move on.
In about 5 years, JidScan hopes to see himself well off from his music and wishes to have accomplished many other great things within his career, such as awards and holding records. “You never know what the future has in store for you, so I just try to make the right moves now,” says JidScan.
This is definitely an artist to watch and as he continues to make a path and name for himself, we can all say that we were here early!
